Most HVAC contractors will tell you they “work on all brands.” That’s technically true the same way a general practitioner technically practices medicine on all body parts. The honest version: certain manufacturers require dealer-specific training and inventory relationships to service correctly under warranty. A Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat MUZ-FS troubleshoot needs the M-Series fault code chart, the proprietary CN52 connector wiring schematic, and the MSZ communication protocol — not generic refrigeration knowledge. A Viessmann Vitodens 200-W combustion sequence is wildly different from a Weil-McLain Ultra. This page tells you which manufacturers our techs have factory training on, which we can service confidently, and which we’ll refer out if you ask — because pretending to be expert on everything is how warranties get voided and equipment gets damaged.
The dealer relationships and training certifications listed below are current as of Q2 2026. Some are renewed annually (Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor), some carry forward (NATE specialty certifications). If you want documentation on any specific certification, ask during your assessment — we keep training certificates on file at the Winchester Street office.
These are brands where we hold formal dealer relationships, complete the manufacturer’s annual training requirements, stock common service parts, and can register equipment warranties directly through the manufacturer portal. Equipment installed by us on these brands gets full manufacturer warranty coverage with extended labor warranties available.
These are brands we service competently — our techs have completed at least one manufacturer training cycle, we can diagnose and repair under-warranty equipment, and we stock the most common service parts. We can register warranties on most of these brands but may not offer the manufacturer’s full premium dealer warranty terms.
If your equipment is one of the brands below, we’ll either decline the work or refer you to a specialist. We list these to be transparent about our limits.
This question comes up in nearly every installation consultation. The honest answer: brand matters less than load calculation, installation quality, and post-install service. A correctly-sized Goodman with proper Manual J calculation, correctly-balanced duct system, and a contractor who pulls permits will outperform an oversized Carrier Infinity installed by a contractor cutting corners.
That said, our brand recommendations by use case:
If you have a specific brand or piece of equipment you’d like to discuss before scheduling service, call (385) 300-1867 with the manufacturer, model number, and approximate age. We can confirm whether it’s in our service list and quote diagnostic or repair work accordingly.
